It’s crazy how summer just started but the stores are already starting to clearance out their outdoor pieces and summer lines of indoor furnishings. I’ve been loving West Elm lately so when I saw their end-of-season sale started, I jumped online to see what’s available. There is a LOT of great stuff – enough that it is worthy of it’s own post. I’ve found that West Elm’s clearance items go fast – at the time of this post everything I’m sharing is still available but if you see something you love, don’t wait to long to get to your West Elm store or buy online. Also, these are all clearance items with no returns so be sure you love it, love it before buying!
One of my favorite clearance pieces is the West Elm Hoyt Wing Chair because for some reason I have this weird love for high backed chairs. While it’s outdoor furniture, wouldn’t four of these chairs be cool around a round kitchen table? They are on clearance for $419.99 (originally $699)
All of West Elm’s outdoor pillows are on sale for between $19.99 – $29.99 – they have tons of fun colors and coordinate well together.
For outdoor dining, the Clinton Friedman Melamine Plates are covered with colorful botanical close-ups and are over half off at $1.99 each (originally $4.50):
The Izmir Outdoor Dhurrie is my hands down favorite of the clearance items. I love the pattern and colors – it’s almost too awesome to put outside but it’s made for indoor or outdoor use. It comes in five sizes with prices between $29.99 – $499.99 (originally $49 – $749):
Moving on to the indoor finds, I love the blues and greens in the Gradated Stripe Shower Curtain, which is $24.99 (originally $39):
I’m also in love with the Pinstripe Tassel Hand Towels, which come in both Pacific and Slate for $6.99 (originally $10):
These Alphabet Trays would be fun in a bathroom or on a nightstand for holding jewelry, soap, etc. They are $2.99 each (originally $8):
The Essex Upholstered Ottoman is covered with a neutral but fun poppy print and would work well as either an ottoman or coffee table. It is $249 (originally $349):
There are a few indoor rugs that are worth looking at, including the Iznik Dhurrie in Sorrel that has a modern lattice design. The same rug also comes in a pretty green citron color. Prices range from $39.99 – $89.99 (originally $49 – $109):
I’m always looking for good planters and I like neutral ones that can move from room to room – the Camille Planters are cool indoor planters with a neutral base and either white or green glazing around the top. They are $14.99 – $34.99 (originally $34 – $69):
There’s something about this Cast Metal Horse Head Lamp that I really like – it’s a bit modern for my house but one of you modern gals might want to snatch it up. At $119.99 (originally $149), it’s not as deeply discounted as some of the other items though:
These three Silk Pillow Covers with aquatic images are also on clearance at $24.99 – $29.99 (originally $34-39). The colors are gorgeous!
For a more traditional and tailored look, you may like the Chambray Stripe Pillow Covers, which are $14.99 each (originally $24). Check out the fringe on the ends of the bolster – love that!
It wouldn’t be a Driven by Décor post if I didn’t find a way to work some chevron action in! How cool is this Chevron Sketch Dinnerware Set? I don’t need dinnerware, but wish I did after seeing this. The pieces range in price from $15.99 – $23.99 (originally $24-$32):
You can also pick up a treat or two for yourself on clearance, like these Hand-Blocked Zipper Cases in Pumpkin. They are in striped and print patterns and have a water-resistant lining, perfect for throwing into your pool bag during the summer. They also have the cases in other color options including jade, slate, and ink with prices from $5.99 – $6.99 (originally $10-$12):
Speaking of pool bags, I’m off to pack mine! The girls are out of school, I am off of work, and a sunny 80ish day awaits us. Enjoy your weekend and be sure to check in next week to hear about a great giveaway!
