Welcome to my Simply Fall home tour! I so appreciate all of the sweet comments you guys left on the beginning of my fall tour last week and I’m excited to tour you through the rest of my home today! I’m joining eight incredibly talented bloggers to share our homes and after seeing all of these sneak peek photos, I can’t wait to pour over every detail of their tours!
To those of you who are coming over from Jen at Decor Gold Designs, welcome! I adore Jen and and know I have big shoes to fill following behind her today – her amazing style never disappoints! If you’re just starting out the tour here at Driven by Decor, no worries – you can catch up on Jen’s tour along with everyone else’s through the links at the bottom of my post. There’s also a full source list at the end of the post if you have questions about paint colors or where I found something and I’ll also link up some sources for my fall decorations as I tour you around. (post includes some affiliate links – see my full disclosure statement {here})
Ready to come inside? We’re keeping things casual today and bringing you in the back door…
Just follow Hope – she’s taking you to one of her favorite hang-out spots on our way in – our patio:
Fall on our patio is pretty simple – I added a few pillows (HomeGoods finds!) and throws to snuggle up in. It’s already chilly here in the evenings!
We bought our fire pit at Lowe’s last fall – it’s no longer available but you can find my other favorite fire pits {here}. We just stocked up on marshmallows and chocolate with plans to make our first S’mores of the season this weekend!
Do you spy those huge hydrangea trees of ours from your seat on the patio? You’ll see some branches I’ve clipped from those suckers a little later on in my tour!
Ready to head in to the kitchen? Along with the fall touches I added to our kitchen’s nesting herb crates and baker’s rack that I shared last week, I added some fall color to our kitchen coffee station:
And some easy-to-grab fall comfort cookies arranged Kardashian-style… Those of you who follow me on Instagram might remember seeing me and my girls do this to my mom’s cookie jar while we were visiting my parents this summer. Well, my girls had so much fun with it that my mom sent her jar home with us 🙂

From the kitchen, we’ll stroll on over to our home office:
I shared a little sneak peek of our office last week when I had started my decorating by adding a basket of sunflowers:
I finished it off with just a few small fall touches – I added a pumpkin to my lion-head door knocker:
along with a few more pumpkins nestled together on our console:
and this gold pheasant that was a long-time-ago HomeGoods find:
Shop the look:
Next stop is our bedroom where I added some fall florals and did a little pillow change-up to cozy things up for fall (do you spy my sunbathing photobomber?):
I bought a pair of {these dark gray velvet pillows} with plans to use them in our living room but ended up loving them with the mix of grays in our master bedroom so there they stayed! I adore the layered flange edges – so pretty!
Shop the look:
Across the way, I added a small bouquet of sunflowers next to my favorite buffalo check chair – I love the combination of black, white, and yellow for fall!
Shop the look:
And finally, we’ll take a walk through foyer while heading towards the front door. I love the hydrangea trees in our yard so much that I wanted to bring some large branches inside but didn’t have a vase large enough to hold them. I lucked into this gorgeously huge handled glass vase (it’s much bigger than it looks in the pics!) at HomeGoods and it works beautifully sitting on my foyer console in front of my wood sunburst mirror:
My “arrangement” isn’t much of an arrangement – the branches are floppy and wild and there’s no shape or order to them but those are my favorite kind of florals 🙂
Thank you guys so much for coming along on my tour – I loved having you over and miss you already (door decal from {here} – they custom-make vinyl decals with any words you choose!).
If you want to catch up on the first part of my tour where I shared my front porch,
my dining room,
and a few other rooms, you can check it out {here} but before you do that, be sure to visit the rest of the group on today’s Simply Home Fall Tour! I just saw this over on the Homegoods board and had to jump over and tell you how amazing this is! Such a beautifully styled space and your photography really captures the cozy element of your home. Nicely done 🙂
Jessica – you’re so sweet! I appreciate your kind words so much!
Wondering what the wall color is in the office? I’m sure it’s posted somewhere , I’m just not finding it. LOVE the gallery wall-It looks absolutely stunning!!!
I’m sorry I’m super late getting back to you but our office wall color is Benjamin Moore Nightfall!
So pretty! I’m very new to landscaping. In your second photo, could you tell me what that bush is that sits behind your boxwood on the left and they also are lined up in front of your stone wall on the right? Thanks!
Hi Kara, I’m embarrassed to say that I have no clue! I am the worst about knowing what is what, even in my own yard!
I loved reviewing your fall home tour 2016. I like how you use touches of fall color to contrast with the grays of your decor. Because the contrast is so great, you don’t have to overdo the fall accents. I did have to chuckle about the lion getting a nod to fall with a white pumpkin. Love your home!
Thank you Jolene! And can you believe that pumpkin was up there for several months and never fell?! 🙂
I love it ALL!!…..and that patio….I could just cozy up with a great book and the s’mores too, of course :)). You have great taste and you are truly an inspiration.!! Keep up the great work! 🙂
What a super sweet comment – thank you so much Catherine!!
What is the paint color used in your home office? I love it.
