The change of seasons is the perfect time to refresh your home’s entry, and nothing transforms it faster than a beautiful wreath on your front door! Whether you’re drawn to lush, leafy looks bursting with autumn color or simple, understated designs with a touch of texture, the right wreath sets the tone for your whole home.
And the good news is, style doesn’t have to come with a steep price tag. I’ve rounded up my favorite fall wreaths for your front door in both save and splurge options, so you can create a beautiful welcome no matter your budget. (post includes commissionable links; for more information, see my full disclosure statement {here})

Grapevine Wreaths (Splurge)

Before wrapping things up, let’s talk about wreath size to be sure you’re choosing one that’s a good size for your door…
Wreath Sizing Tips
When it comes to picking the size of your fall wreath, a wreath that fills between ⅔ and ⅘ the width of your door is the sweet spot. For a standard 36-inch door, this translates to choosing a wreath in the 24- to 28-inch range. If you love a more dramatic statement, you can go a few inches larger, but leave enough breathing room so your wreath isn’t brushing the doorframe or getting caught in the door.
As far as the right height to hang your wreath, aim to hang it so the center of your wreath is right around eye level – about 57-60 inches from the ground. I have and love {this adjustable wreath hanger} that has a button on the back that allows you to adjust the length up and down to the exact length you want:

And I love that it has felt where it rests on top of the door and at the bottom of the hook to keep it from scratching up your door.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend! Check out my post on favorite fall decor ideas for tips on decorating your home both inside and out!
