A no-snow and lots of sun weekend’s here (woo hoo!) so let’s kick it off right by sharing inspiration from some amazing posts that Jennifer, Pam, Lisa, Jenna, and I picked from February’s Best of the Nest party. Ready?!
Right Up My Alley – Reupholstered Camelback Sofa
Traci rescued an old camelback sofa with great lines but dated fabric and without any prior upholstering experience, turned it into this blue velvet covered beauty. I die! And just in case you were wondering, yes she also built that killer bookcase behind it – so inspiring!
Modish & Main – DIY Chalkboard Measuring Cabinet
Kristin came up with one of my favorite kitchen organization projects yet by lining the back of a cabinet door with chalkboard paper and hanging up her measuring cups and spoons. And she used the rest of the space to write out those hard-to-remember measuring equivalents. Brilliant!
Draven Made – Royal Blue & Gold Dresser
Draven used milk paint to transform an estate sale dresser into this absolutely gorgeous royal blue piece! I’m all about dark blue furniture and accessories right now and after seeing Draven’s dresser, this paint color is officially on my must-use list.
CAD Interiors – Bathroom Makeover
Carol just finished up a six month bathroom renovation and shared the gorgeous results with us! Sigh…how I long for some of that herringbone Carrara tile in my life. Check out Carol’s makeover complete with scary “before” pics to see how far her bathroom has come!
Sweet Parrish Place – Vintage Mid Century Modern Record Player Makeover
Nicki transformed a sad looking $25 Goodwill find into this stunning Mid Century Modern beauty! I’m loving the combination of white paint and warm wood tones (swoon!) and how cool is it that the record player and radio housed inside are still in perfect working order?!
Thanks so much to Jenna at Rain on a Tin Roof for guest hosting with us this week!
