September’s issue of House Beautiful features their 2012 “Color Report” – a report on the favorite paint colors of readers, interior designers, and design bloggers that you can find {here}. I love talking paint so this feature is right up my alley! I thought I’d share a few of the survey results along with images of inspiring rooms painted in colors chosen as favorites. Ready?!…

GREEN was chosen by readers as their favorite dining room color while designers chose RED. I love it in this dining room from Delorme Designs:

In addition to the Color Report, the September issue has several other feature articles focusing on color, including an article showcasing this gorgeous Atlanta home designed by Kay Douglass who used a neutral color palette with orange accents. It’s amazing! Check it out {here}. There’s also an article about a colorful Connecticut home designed by Ashely Whittaker in cool blues, greens, and grays. I love how she applied latticework to the walls of the home’s sunroom to create the sense of an outdoor space {here}.
So check out the September issue if you haven’t already – it’s a great one! Enjoy your weekend everyone!
I was over at ADAC today in the Kravet showroom and we were talking about how blue has really stayed on top for quite some time! Clients are still asking me for it!
I believe it – I get tired of wall colors easily and end up repainting every few years but the one room I don’t know I’ll ever repaint is our guest bedroom that is painted in BM Kentucky Haze – LOVE it!
