Over the weekend my youngest daughter and I went to Calico Corners to look at fabrics because a makeover of her bedroom (we’re saying goodbye to little girl butterflies and hello to modern tween!) is the next project I’m jumping into after our home office remodel is complete. As we were heading out of the store, a pair of familiar, sultry eyes jumped out at me from a stack of flyers:
I had no idea, did you? Apparently Nate Berkus has created his first ever fabric collection and it will be sold exclusively at Calico Corners starting on Monday. I’m sure you all love Nate Berkus as much as I do – he designs with the perfect mix of classic and contemporary, neutrals and color, & elegance and comfort.
I think that his fall collection for Target is fantastic and includes so many great accessories. I’m hoping that his new line of fabrics will be equally as fabulous. His fabric collection will include 96 fabric options, including print, drapery, and woven upholstery fabrics, that will retail starting at $14/yard. About 40 more fabric options will be added when the second round of the collection launches in late spring. They’re keeping his fabric designs under tight wraps at the moment so the only image of his fabrics that I could get my hands on is this one:
