A ton of new items have recently arrived at Home Goods, many of which are Christmas-related but for those of you not yet ready to acknowledge that the holidays are fast approaching, there were many other great finds to be had. My favorite new Home Goods finds were in the mirror section – they have a great assortment of mirrors framed with a variety of textural materials. This big guy was my favorite – a square mirror framed by burlap with leather lacing:
It would actually make a great frame by taking off the back, replacing the mirror with a piece of artwork, and reattaching the back. Placing two of these above a bed would look fabulous.
Another great textured mirror was a rectangular one that had a woven frame with a darker colored woven stripe down one side:
And a slightly larger mirror that had a lighter natural colored woven frame:
This square, textured black/natural mirror was very neat – it had some depth to it with the framing of the mirror angling down toward the edges. Again, it would make a great frame if you chose to replace the mirror with artwork:
And yet another textured mirror with a chunky woven border that came in both black (as pictured below) or dark brown.
While I wanted to cart them all home with me, I refrained from any mirror purchases today – as my family can attest, I already have a slew of mirrors that I fell in love with and brought home but have yet to find a place for. I’m thinking I’m one baby step away from needing to join MA (mirrors anonymous)…
