An Easy End Of Year Teacher Appreciation Gift

With our movers arriving in just a few days, I was all about making my teacher gifts easy this year. I headed to Target and came up with an easy teacher appreciation gift I love and wanted to share with you! The gift started with finding these checked soft coolers for $3 each – so cute! Target and dollar stores are great places to look for similar ones but you could also just use a cute gift bag too!  (post includes affiliate links – see my full disclosure statement {here})

At the back of the store, I found a display with all the makings of S’mores (marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate bars) and some great extendable forks that are perfect for roasting them ({these} roasting sticks are perfect if you prefer to do your shopping online!).  Finally, I made a stop in the stationary aisle – are these cards not the cutest?

It took less than 5 minutes to turn my pile of loot:

    into a fun teacher gift:

I simply stuffed some tissue paper in the bottom of each cooler, added the S’mores fixings, punched a hole in the corner of the thank-you card, and tied it on with some red and white twine (a past Target dollar bin purchase).

All but one of my daughters’ teachers have young kids so I thought it was a fun teacher appreciation gift that they are sure to enjoy this summer. For the other teacher, I bought a Target gift card and used one of my simple tricks for dressing up gift cards that I blogged about last year:

My girls are now officially out of school – let the summer begin!

Do you have the brand name for the cooler bags. Or where I could get one because I’ve looked everywhere?

Unfortunately I don’t know the brand since I gave all of mine away as gifts. I don’t know where to get them currently – mine came from the Target dollar section.

Thanks for this idea! Just put together something similar today after seeing your post, and was happy that it only took going to target and dollar tree to make a cute basket for under $10 each! Totally necessary with 3 kids/6 teachers.

What a cute idea! I saw a cute card on Pinterest with a Teacher Appreciation card that said, “The world could use S’more teachers like you. 🙂 My daughter is in 1st grade, and I think her teacher would love this gift.
