Acrylic coffee tables are perfect for adding style to your space without a lot of visual weight. I’m sharing my favorite acrylic coffee tables, including the one I chose for my own home!
I’m brewing up some plans for a few room makeovers and as I was searching online for a couple of specific furniture pieces, I found myself falling for all of the gorgeous acrylic & lucite furniture that’s out there right now. Such beautiful stuff! I figured you all would love it as much as I do so thought I’d share some of the acrylic eye candy that I came across, focusing on my favorite acrylic coffee tables (post includes affiliate links – disclosure statement available {here}).
This acrylic coffee table is one of my favorite pieces – I love it so much that I bought it for my own living room:
Unfortunately it’s from Wisteria who recently went out of business so my exact one is no longer available but there are lots of similar acrylic coffee table options. {This acrylic coffee table} is almost an exact match but in a square size. I also love the more modern vibe of this Soho Cocktail Table found {here} – gorgeous!
And {this acrylic coffee table} is a stunner too – it’s actually a blend of stainless steel, plastic, and acrylic and is available with either silver or gold accents:
Want a super simple, more modern design? Check out {these peekaboo acrylic coffee tables} in two sizes. Here are some other favorites:
1. Acrylic & silver rectangular table | 2. Tapered leg acrylic table | 3. Square acrylic table | 4. Acrylic table with bottom shelf | 5. Acrylic table with polished nickel bars | 6. One piece acrylic table | 7. Square coffee table with bottom shelf | 8. Sculpted leg acrylic table
I also love {this acrylic console table} that has a simple waterfall design.
Do Acrylic Coffee Tables Scratch Easily?
If you’re worried about your acrylic table scratching, know that while the table frame is acrylic, the top surface of most these acrylic tables (including mine) is glass. Mine has worn beautifully so if you’re concerned about scratches I’d recommend buying one with a glass top. The acrylic sides and legs of our coffee table are essentially scratch fee after years of use but if your coffee table is going to have to withstand more abuse (like little kids that are going to run play cars up the legs of it), acrylic might not be the best choice for you because it does scratch more easily than wood.
How Do You Clean Acrylic?
You just have to be careful about cleaning acrylic because if you clean with amonia-based glass cleaner, it can cause the acrylic to get cloudy and will ruin your beautiful furniture piece. I typically clean the acrylic portions of my coffee table with nothing more than a damp microfiber cloth. If you need more of a deep clean, a mild soap and water mix (followed by wiping off with plain water) does the job. You can also buy cleaners that are specially made for acrylic surfaces such as {this acrylic cleaner} that can be used on everything from aquariums to electronics or coffee tables.
There are a lot of gorgeous acrylic furniture pieces other than coffee tables too – one stunning example is this beautiful Oscarine Lucite Bar Cart found {here} (swoon!):
And if you missed the tutorial for putting together the acrylic and brass curtain rods that I have in my home office…
it’s another option for bringing acrylic into your home that you might like. You can find more info on that {here}.
That’s it for today! I’ll see you all back here later this week!

I have been inlove with them for years and I am definitely getting the Wisteria Console when my budget allows eventually! Did you see my IG post on that Acrylic side table I spied at Hobby Lobby?
Kris Jarrett says
No, I didn’t (I am so behind on my blog reading!) – I will have to check it out. Thanks Vel!

I have loved acrylic anything for many years. I have a treasured ghost chair at my desk and we are using acrulic throughout my daughter’s upcoming wedding. Ghost chairs at the sweetheart table, an acrylic box to drop cards in, an acrylic cake stand and an acrylic “love” sign. I tried to find an acrylic table to use at the altar for the candle lighting service but none are available in my area. Darn! Love all the examples you showed…thanks!

Oops – sorry about that last reply – I was replying to the wrong comment 🙂 Your daughter’s upcoming wedding sounds like it’s going to be AMAZING!! I hope it’s a beautiful day for you both!

That’s a good question Karen – I’ve never owned a piece of acrylic furniture so I can’t speak to how easily it scratches but it does seem like it’s a material that would do that. I noticed that for some of the pieces like the table and coffee table, the top is glass – maybe that’s why!

I love those CB2 dining chairs. I honestly would never use it in my own home but love the look!

I don’t think I could get away with using acrylic chairs in my home either (as much as I love them!) but I would totally use an acrylic console or coffee table!

I always dream about an acrylic coffee table. The top is glass off course. It prevents scratches. Those pictures shows the beauty of acrylic furniture. Love it.
Kris Jarrett says
Me too Hailey! Just love it!

Lovely, I love the bar cart but am I the only one who can see damaged shins from acrylic coffee tables, the corners look devilish.
Kris Jarrett says
I would guess that you’re right Lindsey and that it’s pretty similar to metal edged coffee tables that you wouldn’t want to have with little ones in the house!

That first photo of the side table is so pretty…..I love it. I keep seeing a smallish lucite waterfall edge desk at Homegoods and cant believe it hasn’t been snatched up yet. I wish I had space to use it as a vanity in my room or my daughter’s room. Cant wait to see the room makeovers you are planning!!
