Poufs are one of the most versatile accessories you can have in your home! There are so many different uses for them and such a wide range of colors and styles that you can find poufs to fit any decorating style. Today I’m sharing ideas for decorating with poufs plus my favorite sources for buying them. (post includes commissionable links; for more information see my disclosure statement {here})
Poufs as Footrests
Probably the most common way to use poufs is as footrests. We had a pair of {these white Moroccan poufs} in our bonus room that were perfect for throwing your feet up on when hanging out on the daybed:
Room Sources: Herringbone wallpaper (denim color) | Daybed | White quilted Euro shams (similar) | Blue & white block print pillow covers (similar) | Long textured lumbar pillow | Cozy pom pom throw (similar) | Brass sputnik flush mount light fixture | Roman shades | White Moroccan leather poufs
Poufs at the Foot of a Bed
We have also used this same pair of poufs at the foot of my daughter’s bed instead of a bench:
Room Sources: Gold quatrefoil pendant | DIY upholstered headboard | Moroccan leather poufs | White linen quilt | Other sources no longer available
Poufs for Extra Family Room Seating
You can also place two or three poufs in the middle of your living room to serve as coffee tables or use them around a coffee table for casual seating like we use {these gorgeous textured poufs} in our living room:
Poufs as a Side Table
Taller poufs such as {this striped jute pouf} can do double duty as a side table:
Poufs Under an Entryway Console
We have a pair of {these poufs} under our entryway console and they’re perfect for pulling out to take shoes on or off as go out or come through the door:
Entryway Sources: Wallpaper | Console (similar) | White table lamp | 30″ x 40″ Framed art print | Decorative snail | Shallow wood bowl | Glass beads | Poufs
So, what’s your take on poufs – do you love them as much as I do?
