I’m very much a high-low shopper, mixing higher-end furniture pieces in with affordable home decor finds. Over the past few years, Walmart has really been upping their home decor game and more and more often, I’m scoring finds I love. If that surprises you, it’s probably because you haven’t shopped Walmart online! There’s SO much more than you’ll ever find shopping in-store.
Today I’ve gathered together ten of my favorite affordable Walmart finds to share with you! Let’s get to it… (post includes commissionable links; for more information, see my disclosure statement {here})
1. Outdoor Furniture
Walmart has some of the best budget-friendly outdoor furniture, especially in their Better Homes & Gardens line. I bought {this set of two lounge chairs},
and {this matching outdoor loveseat} early last year for our back porch and have been extremely happy with them. Unlike most lower cost outdoor furniture, the cushions are nice and plush, and I think their design looks super high-end!
Also check out {these all-weather wicker club chairs} and {this matching outdoor sofa} that I’ve heard several people rave about.
2. Serving Caddies
If you dine outdoors in the warmer months, you will LOVE {this woven serving caddy}! It has spots for all of your tabletop essentials, including salt & pepper shakers, plates, napkins, and silverware, making it quick and easy to switch from dining indoors to out:
It’s pretty amazing to be able to grab this caddy and bring everything we need outside in just one trip! If you’re looking for a serving caddy to hold just silverware, napkins, and a few other small items, check out {this oval rattan caddy}:
3. Woven Lamp Shade
If you have a table lamp that’s looking tired, instead of buying a whole new lamp, a simple shade swap may do the trick! Walmart has some great ones, including {this tapered rattan patterned shade} that’s under $25:
4. Planters
Walmart has become one of my go-tos for budget-friendly planters in all shapes and sizes. {These large fluted white planters} have gone viral for being an amazing “save” version of another brand’s expensive concrete planters. I bought a pair early last year and love them!
I also like that they’re lightweight, so they’re easy to store over winter:
In fact, so easy that I still haven’t taken them out of storage to put on our front porch this season 🙈…lol. It’s been a busy summer!
I also can’t say enough about {this ceramic planter} that comes in two size options, the largest of which is this 12″ size:
I filled mine with succulents and currently have it on our back porch:
But it would be a beautiful planter for indoors too! When the weather turns cold, I plan to bring ours inside to use as a kitchen table centerpiece:
And last but not least, recently I snagged {this diamond pattern woven planter} for indoors. It’s a steal at under $10:
It has a clear plastic liner extending all of the way to the top of the basket that makes watering worry-free:
It sells out fairly quickly, but they seem to keep restocking it so check back in if it’s currently out of stock.
Other favorite planters include {this small bubble planter} and {this rattan plant stand}. I’m also totally smitten by {this plant stand} and wish I had a spot for it (especially since the price was just slashed!):
5. Placemats & Other Tableware
If you’re looking to add some style to your dining table, Walmart has lots of great options! My most recent favorites are {these woven placemats}, which are just $5 each:
I also love {this gold flatware set} and think that {this dinnerware set} is really pretty.
6. Solar Walkway Lights
The right lighting is everything, both indoors and out! I have {these solar walkway lights} lining our front walkway, and they’re one of my favorite outdoor purchases:
They’re powered by the sun (so no wiring & no batteries) with a solar panel on top:
and automatically turn on at dusk, lighting the way to our front door:
They’d also be pretty in a backyard surrounding a porch or patio, or you could add one to each planter in your outdoor living space. If, instead of pathway lights, you’re looking for outdoor spotlights that are motion-sensitive, check out {these motion sensor solar LED spotlights} that have good reviews.
7. Woven Bathroom Accessories
If you want a stylish way to store extra rolls of toilet paper in your bathroom, {this woven toilet tank basket} is it! I use mine to store three rolls of TP,
but you could also use one of the compartments for air freshener sprays, wet wipes, or tissues. There are many ways you could use it outside of a bathroom too, including as a diaper basket, for food storage in a pantry, for holding desk supplies, and more.
And for under $20, you can snag {this small woven trashcan} that comes with a full-height plastic insert:
8. Tabletop Tikis
I discovered tabletop tikis last year and now love using them on our back porch, especially at night. They’re not only great for mood lighting, but if you fill them with bug repelling fuel, it helps keep mosquitoes at bay. Walmart has several tabletop tiki options, including {these tikis with a greenery design}:
{these black and white tikis}, and {these herringbone pattern tikis}. To repel mosquitoes, fill them with {this BiteFighter tiki fuel} or {this clean burn BiteFighter fuel}, which is the one I prefer because it’s plant-based and burns with less smoke.
9. Outdoor Side Table/Cooler
Another favorite is {this outdoor side table} that has a little secret:
It does double duty as a cooler! Simply swivel open the top and fill it with ice and drinks:
Its double-wall construction keeps 48 12 oz. cans cool for up to 12 hours. And it has a drainage plug in the bottom to make cleanup easy.
Instead of a cooler, you could also use it for outdoor storage space:
10. The Viral Swivel Chair
I’m wrapping up my favorites with what I would guess is Walmart’s best selling home item right now (it’s crazy popular!). It’s {this oversized swivel chair} that’s part of Drew Barrymore’s Beautiful line:
I’ve seen it in person, and it’s much cuter than in Walmart’s pic of it! With almost 6,000 reviews and 4.8 stars, it’s the perfect cozy corner chair for reading or relaxing. While it’s not exactly cheap, when you compare it to a similar chair at Pottery Barn that’s over $2000, the Walmart price is a bargain! Also check out {this swivel slipcovered chair} if you like a more streamlined design.
These are a few other affordable home decor pieces that caught my eye:

I was especially excited to find {this wood vase} because it’s almost identical to these wood vases I have that are no longer made (but I get asked about all the time):
That wraps up my home decor finds, but I have one last Walmart.com shopping tip! Don’t sleep on their Home Edit line of organizers! They’re very similar to what you’d find at high-priced organizing stores but for a fraction of the cost. They have a great line of pantry organizers {here} including a variety of storage bins, {these 3-tier risers}, and {this turntable} that I have in my own pantry:
Also, check out their laundry room organizers {here} and their beauty organizers {here}.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!
