Tie Back and Corseted Slipcovers: A Fun Way to Dress Up Plain Parsons Chairs!

In this post: Slipcovers with corseted & tie back designs are perfect for dressing up your dining chairs! I’ve hunted down some gorgeous slipcovered chairs I think you’ll love!

I love slipcovered chairs not only for their look but also because if they get stained you can pull them off and either take them to the dry cleaner or throw them in the wash! Simple slipcovered chairs with clean lines are great but I especially love slipcovers that have a unique design on the back such as the backs of the chairs that we used in our office at our old house:

Love the corseted slipcovers on these dining chairs - the ties are so cute!

and in the kitchen at our current house:

Love this breakfast nook with a high backed banquette and slipcovered chairs with ties in the back!

Slipcovers with unique backs are such a fun way to add decorative interest to plain Parsons chairs like these beauties from In the Fun Lanes’ dining room!

and these adorable two-part checked slipcovers from Cote de Texas’ gorgeous dining room:

And how cute is this laced X pattern on the back of these dining room slipcovers from Pierre Deux?

I lucked into finding my slipcovered chairs at a consignment shop so don’t have an exact source to share with you but I sleuthed out a few other similar slipcovered chairs I thought you’d like (affiliate links included – full disclosure statement {here}).  Ones that look super similar to mine but without the striped fabric pattern are {these gorgeous tie back chair covers}:

So in love with these gorgeous slipcovered chairs that tie in the back - check out the other slipcovered chair options in this post too!

Or you might like the more detailed, corseted look of {these slipcovers}:

Which one of these slipcovered beauties is your favorite?

I love yours best! 🙂 Also like the Horchow one. I bought a plain white one from PB for one of my daughter’s room that ties up in back. It is a cute little detail.

I hadn’t really thought of it but they would be perfect for a girl’s room, wouldn’t they?!

The slipcover I have are similar to yours without the pin strips, and I wanted to know exactly how you wash and clean them.
The ones I have didn’t come with any instructions.
