This past December, I was invited to New York City to preview a new home decor collection that Walmart launched in March. They were keeping details of this new line under pretty tight wraps so I didn’t have a lot of information going into it – I knew that I loved the look of the collection mood board so it would be worth my trek into the city to see more but I had no idea that Drew Barrymore was the one behind it. The preview event was in a loft that was in a very unassuming building so when we opened the door to the loft and saw this, I was pretty blown away!

I went there with my friend Brooke of Nesting with Grace and a few minutes in she whispered something like, “Can you believe that it’s her?”. There was a woman dressed in a princess-like outfit who seemed to be the focus of everyone’s attention so I whispered back, “I have no idea who that is” to which Brooke understandably gave me a look like I’m crazy. I figured this princess-like person was some big deal that I didn’t know about – I mean, when I pick up a People magazine, I only know about ⅓ of the people in it anymore :). But after looking around the loft for another minute I realized it wasn’t the princess that Brooke was talking about… it was Drew Barrymore! Umm… yes, this person I know! And love!
So yes, you can’t take me anywhere – lol! And yes, it was super exciting to get to meet Drew and to see the beautiful new Flower Home line that she created in partnership with Walmart in person. Almost every piece from her new collection was available for us to check out (and it was all styled so beautifully) so I made notes about what I loved and wanted for my own home once her collection went live in March. Today I finally get to share everything with you! I’m partnering with Walmart to share my six favorite Flower Home finds that have made their way into my home. Ready to see? (this post contains affiliate links – full disclosure statement available {here})
I’m going to kick things off with the favorite finds that are in my family room – do you see a few new changes?:

For all family room sources see {this post}
1. Vintage Floral Pillows
I immediately fell in love with {these vintage floral pillows} after seeing them in person in NYC. I am constantly on the hunt for patterned pillow fabrics that mix colors with neutrals like the blacks and grays that I have throughout my home – trust me, it’s hard to find! Having the gray and black in the pillows allows me to bring color into my room while keeping the cohesive feel of it! And I love that they’re zippered so you can swap out the inserts if you’d like. They came with high quality 20″ feather inserts but I like my pillows to be more overstuffed so I swapped them out with 22″ inserts so they’re super plump!
I paired the vintage floral pillows with my tried and true cream tasseled pillow covers along with {these ridiculously soft pleated velvet pillows} – loving this little combo:
The white tassel pillows were found {here}.
2. Macrame Basket Sets
I knew that {this 3-piece macrame basket set} was a must-have from the moment I spotted these beauties (you know I’m all about texture and tassels!). I chose the natural and charcoal (a dark gray) combination:
but they come in three other pretty color options as well (click/tap image below to shop them):
And the set of three baskets is priced at what you would expect to pay for a single large basket! I’m using the medium size with my faux fiddle leaf fig tree,
and the smaller size to corral Hope’s dog toys (I stuffed an old towel in the bottom so that all of the toys are at the top half of the basket where she can reach them!):
The largest basket would be great for throws, pillows, or kids toys!
3. Brass Wave Wire Basket Set
I also love {this set of 3 brass wire baskets} with a gorgeous wave design. I have the largest basket on the side of my sectional for throws:
and the smallest one in our powder room to hold extra rolls of toilet paper:

I’m actually ridiculously happy about this new addition to our powder room – it’s the most used bathroom in our house so TP goes fast and we’ve just had extra rolls sitting next to the toilet until now. Loving this basket solution for corralling them so much better!
4. Oval Rattan Mirror
This oval rattan mirror (found {here}) is a beauty and it’s pretty light weight so was easy to hang:
One of the keys to decorating with neutrals without your home looking boring is to load up on different textures – this mirror is perfect for that:
5. Pet Bowls
Drew is an animal lover and that shines through in her new collection. Not only does she have animals in several pieces of her Flower Home art, but she has a few pet products as part of her collection too. I’m a sucker for anything cute having to do with dogs so it’s no surprise that {this set} of dog bowls is a favorite:
And Hope gives them the lick of approval too! 🙂 You can check out other pet products from the Flower Home collection including dog & cat beds and other patterned food and water bowls {here}.
6. Dinnerware
I’ve never bought a 16-piece dinnerware set because instead of having my dinner plates, salad plates, and bowls look exactly the same, I love to mix and match. I’ve always had to buy individual pieces in order to get that eclectic look but with {this 16-piece vintage floral dinnerware set}, you get a mix of stripes, floral pattern, and solids from a single, reasonably priced set – love that!
My favorite is the blush/indigo color combo but Flower Home has several other beautiful dinnerware color options too:

So those are my top six! These are a few other favorites that I saw in person and loved but didn’t have a spot for in my own home – hopefully some of you will!:
You can check out the rest of Drew Barrymore’s Flower Home collection online at Walmart.com {here} – almost everything ships for free and the few larger pieces that don’t can be ordered online and picked up for free at your local Walmart. You can also return any online items to your local Walmart store if they don’t work out which is really nice! I wish that this collection had come out before I redid my youngest daughter’s room – there are so many fun and colorful pieces that would have worked so well (and saved me some $$ too!).
Hope you all enjoyed today’s post and that you have a wonderful weekend!
