X-Base Stool Ideas: Uses Throughout Your Home!

I love using X-base stools in our home because they’re such versatile decor pieces! Today I’m sharing the many ways that you can use them throughout different rooms of your home plus my favorite stylish X-base stool picks! (post includes commissionable links; for more information, see my full disclosure statement {here})

    X-Base Stools in Bedrooms

One of my favorite spots for X-base stools is at the foot of a bed in bedrooms. It’s the perfect spot to place any decorative pillows you take off your bed at night or clothes you might re-wear the next day. It can also be a nice spot to sit while you’re putting on shoes or slippers.

For twin beds, you’d need just a single stool at the end of the bed:

Sources: Camp stools no longer available  |  Rattan bed  |  Wide white nightstand  |  Bone inlay table lamp  |  Scalloped quilt

while a pair of stools looks best with larger beds. I use a pair of camp stools similar to {these} at the foot of the king bed in my own bedroom:

Other sources:  White table lamps (similar)  |  Gray & white patterned linen duvet – no longer available  |  Gray & white dragon/floral pillows  |  Drapes (mine are single-width blackout lined)  |  Diamond jute rug

This is also a beautiful example of how much style X-base stools can add to the look of a bedroom:

    X-Base Stools in Living Rooms

In family or living rooms, X-base stools such as these are perfect for extra seating:

As an added plus, these camp stools fold for easy storage when they’re not needed.

    X-Base Stools in Entryways

I love open consoles in entryways and they’re the perfect spot to tuck a pair of stools:

    Uses in Bathrooms

X-base stools can also be used in bathrooms as a spot to sit or a place to lay your towels near your shower or bathtub:

Now that you’ve seen the many uses for X-base stools, I’ll share my favorites:
