Sharing the 25 Amazon kitchen gadgets that I have and love the most!
I loved designing and decorating our new kitchen, but spending hours cooking in it… it’s honestly not my favorite thing. I’m all about home-cooked meals that are quick and easy. So any kitchen tool or gadget that gets me out of the kitchen faster (or at least makes cooking a little bit more fun) is a win in my book.
Today I’ve gathered together my 25 favorite Amazon kitchen gadgets to share with all of you! Let’s get to it… (post includes commissionable links; for more information, see my full disclosure statement {here})
1. Olive Oil Sprayer
One of our kitchen gadgets that I use on almost a daily basis is {this olive oil sprayer}. If you don’t have one, you’re missing out! I use it for evenly spraying oil on pans before sautéing veggies, spraying asparagus and broccoli before putting it in the oven,

spraying oil on Greek salads,

and more. And Jeff loves it for spraying the grill before cooking.
This particular olive oil sprayer stands out from others because it has green glass that prevents exposure of oil to sunlight which degrades it, you can both spray AND pour with it (you simply slide a button to open the pour spout),

and it comes with waterproof stickers for labeling your bottle with the type of oil inside.
2. The Ultimate Jar Opener
You know those jars that you end up passing around the whole family trying to find someone who can open it? {This jar opener} will get the job done! For small to medium jars, simply pick one of the eight circular openings (there are four on each side of the opener) closest to the size of your jar lid, place it around the lid, squeeze, and turn:

For large jars, it has a hook that you can use to lift the edge of the lid to break the air seal and make it easy to open. It would be an especially great gadget for anyone who struggles with arthritis and wants to make opening all jars easier.
The opener also has a second hook that you can use to hook ring pull tabs to open cans (which I love because it spares my fingernails!).

3. Veggie Chopper
{This veggie chopper} (I have the 4 in 1 option) is one of my favorite purchases of 2024! It makes chopping veggies for dinner prep and for salads so easy, and we definitely eat more vegetables as a result:

My oldest daughter used our chopper when she was home for a visit and decided she needed one for herself. She now sends me pics all the time of the quick salads she makes for lunch:

All of the parts are top rack dishwasher friendly for easy cleaning.
4. Chicken Shredder
If you eat a lot of shredded chicken, you’ll love {this chicken shredder} that makes shredding chicken ridiculously fast and easy. You simply cut a chicken breast into 3 pieces and place it on the shredder,

then place the clear cover on top and push down and rotate it to shred your chicken. The more you rotate it, the more finely shredded your chicken will be.

It works beautifully with pork too! And when you’re done, you can simply pop it into the dishwasher to clean.
5. Sink Corner Drying Rack
{This roll-up corner drying rack} for your kitchen sink is the perfect mini rack for drying a sponge, scrub brush, and/or dish towel:

And when it’s not in use, it rolls up compactly for easy storage.
6. Over-the-Sink Roll-Up Drying Rack
{This over-the-sink drying rack} is awesome! Along with working great for drying dishes:

I also use it for washing fruits and veggies:

and as a heat-resistant trivet for resting dishes on the countertop after coming out of the oven. And like the mini drying rack for the sink corner, it rolls up for easy storage. I keep both of them in a drawer next to our kitchen sink along with {this folding quick-dry stone drying mat}:

7. Milk Frother
I had seen {this milk frother} on the Amazon best seller list for a long time but didn’t think I had any use for one since we just drink coffee at home, not cappuccinos or other more elaborate coffee drinks.

But I decided to try one out as part of our new kitchen coffee bar when a friend of mine raved about using hers with a simple cup of coffee with milk. And I have to say… it lived up to the hype! You just whisk for about 30 seconds (it’s pretty powerful, so if your cup is full, you just pulse it on and off so it doesn’t overflow!)…

and your coffee will have this yummy, creamy froth on top:

If you’re a coffee lover, you definitely need this little guy to add a new twist to your morning coffee routine.
8. Refrigerator Deodorizer
I’m not exactly sure what the magic is behind {this refrigerator deodorizer}, but it somehow works by decomposing smelly gases instead of just absorbing the odors. And it truly does get the job done! I eat a lot of boiled eggs and batch cook them for a week, which is great except that… my fridge smells gross for the first day or two after I put them in the fridge. Adding this refrigerator deodorizer has helped so much!

Unlike baking sodas and other deodorizers, this one works for as long as ten years without replacement, so is cheaper over time! And you don’t have to worry about it spilling like you might with a baking soda box. And you can use it anywhere else with a bit of a funky smell, such as a shoe cabinet, coat closet, gym bag, or car.
9. Wood Toaster Tongs
I don’t know if you’d call {these wood toaster tongs} a gadget, but I had to include them on my list because they’re so stinking cute and a must-have for toaster owners:

The next time you need to fish something out of your toaster, use this cutie as a much safer alternative to a metal utensil:

And as a side note, I bought {this Ninja 2-in-1 flip toaster} last year and love it! In the upright position, it functions as a toaster, and then if you rotate it onto its side, it works as a toaster oven.
10. GripStic Bag Clips
After a recommendation from one of you, I bought the assorted pack of {these GripStic bag clips} to try out, and they’re a total win!

You simply fold over the top of the bag and then slide the clip on:

They work great for keeping bags of cereal fresh too:

11. Garlic Chopper
I was skeptical, but {this garlic chopper} really works! You simply pop a few cloves of garlic inside (it works best if you cut each clove in half first),

and then run it back and forth on your countertop (which is easy because it’s on wheels):

Then you just open it up and get out your freshly chopped garlic:

It makes chopping garlic super fast, and the chopper is easier to clean than a garlic press, where the garlic gets stuck in all the holes. You simply separate the two parts, rinse it, and throw it on the top rack of your dishwasher.
12. Appliance Slider Mats
Do you have to pick up your coffee maker to get it out from under the cabinets so you can lift up the lid to fill it? Or do you have a blender or mixer that you need to wrestle with to bring it to the front of your countertop? {These appliance slider mats} that come in a pack of 3 are the best!
Simply place your small appliance on top of the mat, trace around the base, and cut the mat to fit. With the mat under your appliance (where you can’t even see it)…

your small appliance will glide back and forth on your countertop with ease! I also have one of these mats under a heavy planter that I have to slide forward on my countertop to water, and it works beautifully for that too!
13. Breakfast Sandwich Maker
I bought {this breakfast sandwich maker} for Jeff several years ago because he’s always been a breakfast sandwich fanatic. It was a HUGE hit and something he’s used several times a week ever since. His go-to is pretty simple – an English muffin with egg, sprinkled cheddar cheese, and sometimes bacon or sausage. It’s a breeze to clean, and I love that it’s super small for easy storage.

I also bought {this mini maker} for my daughter to use in her apartment – it’s a highly rated mini griddle that’s perfect for single-serving eggs and pancakes. Be sure to check out my post on my other must-have small kitchen appliances for more favorites!
14. Food Huggers
I have and love {these reusable food huggers} that come as a set of five. They’re made for keeping cut fruit and veggies fresh without needing plastic wrap or a larger food storage container that takes up space in the fridge. We use them mostly for lemons, limes, apples, onions, and bananas:

And the largest size fits perfectly around our drinking glasses to create a food storage container when all of ours are being used or in the dishwasher.
15. Meat Chopper
{This meat chopper}) is one of the simplest kitchen gadgets but so helpful! I had a similar one from Pampered Chef for years that finally bit the dust, but I actually like this one better and it’s cheaper. It works so much easier and faster than a spatula for breaking up ground beef or turkey, especially if it’s not 100% unthawed when you go to cook it.

I use it for smashing up my avocados for guacamole too! And it’s dishwasher friendly, so super easy to clean.
16. Clip-On Strainer
You might have heard me talk about {this clip-on strainer} before because I’ve had it for years and love it. It clips onto the side of pots and pans for easy straining of water from pasta and grease from hamburger meat:

It fits all of my pots and pans from big to small, and it’s dishwasher friendly (and takes up a lot less space than a colander). If I could only keep a single kitchen gadget, it would be this one! It makes a great stocking stuffer too!
17. Odor Absorber Bar
I cook with a lot of onions and love them in my food but don’t love the residual stink they leave on my hands. I’ve been using {this stainless steel odor absorber bar} for years – you rub it on your hands like you would a bar of soap, and it works so well to remove that onion smell!

The comments on the Amazon listing are pretty entertaining to see all of the smelly stuff that others have had luck using it on too 😳.
18. Guac-Lock
We are guacamole fanatics in our house and eat it with chips or on Mexican food or burgers almost weekly. It’s always such a bummer to make or buy guacamole and grab it from the fridge the next day to eat more of it and find it all brown and gross. {This guac-lock} is a smart little Amazon kitchen gadget that presses all the air out and keeps it fresh for days:

I’ve tried other tricks to keep it from browning, like adding the avocado pit to it, sealing the top with plastic wrap, and sprinkling on lemon juice, but the guac-lock is the best way to keep guac fresh of all the ways I’ve tried. I wish they would make a mini version too because my only issue with our guac lock is that if you have just a small amount of guac left, it’s not enough to fill the guac lock up.
19. Electric Can Opener
Our can opener had gotten so dull that opening cans with it had become a challenge. When looking at replacement options, I decided to try {this electric can opener} – I love it! It doesn’t take up much more room than a regular can opener in your kitchen drawer, and it works so well!

Instead of cutting the can on the top of the can, it cuts right under the top rim so (1) the lid doesn’t fall into the can when using the opener and (2) you can actually place the lid back on if it’s something you want to keep in the refrigerator for the next day or so like canned dog food that you might use more of at the next meal:

It’s also great for those who are getting older and have difficulty using a manual can opener due to arthritis.
20. Ice Cream Maker
Have you ever tried making your own ice cream? It’s fun and so much easier than you’d think! We have {this ice cream maker} which makes the yummiest stuff without having to mess around with ice and salt. You simply add your ice cream ingredients to the bowl (which you freeze first), turn it on to mix for about 20 minutes, throw it back in the freezer for a bit, and it’s done. This Amazon kitchen gadget comes with several recipes to get you started (mint chocolate chip is a family fave) but I love experimenting with new combinations of add-ins too:

I also highly recommend {this ice cream scoop} – don’t ask me why it works so well because it’s pretty basic, but I got it after seeing the thousands of rave reviews and it’s definitely the best one we’ve had, especially when you’re trying to scoop ice cream that’s rock hard. It comes in several color options, including the mint color we have:

And it’s dishwasher safe, which is a bonus.
21. Herb Scissors
Whether it’s cutting green onion for a stir fry dish, cilantro for guacamole, or parsley for a chicken dish, {these herb scissors} make cutting herbs a breeze:

I love that they come with a cover for safe storage in your kitchen drawers as well as a little comb to get out any herbs that get stuck in them.
22. Pizza Cutter
We had an ancient hand-me-down pizza cutter for years that finally bit the dust, and if I had known how good the one we replaced it with was going to be, I would have thrown that old sucker out long ago. I love {this pizza cutter} not because the blade is large and sharp so it cuts well:

but my favorite thing about it is that there is a plastic blade guard that you can cover the blade with before putting it in your kitchen drawer. With my old pizza cutter, I used to wrap aluminum foil around the blade because I was worried about cutting myself when reaching in to grab one of my kitchen tools. The cutter also disassembles quickly for easy cleaning and is dishwasher safe. Definitely high on my list of favorite Amazon kitchen gadgets!
23. Magnetic Measuring Spoons
This favorite seems like it would be really boring, but you have to trust me on this one – {these magnetic measuring spoons} are awesome! I hate keeping measuring spoons on the ring, but I also hate how they scatter in my drawer when they’re not attached to each other. Having magnetic spoons that stick together neatly in my drawer when I’m not using them but also separately neatly from one another when I need one is the best:

And there’s a spoon on each end, so basically you get two sets of spoons in one. I also love that the spoon on one end is slim enough to fit into spice jars.
24. Digital Cooking Thermometer
While it’s not the most exciting of gadgets, I love {this digital cooking thermometer} that folds for easy storage and also has the cooking temperatures for various meats right on it (something I am always looking up because I can’t seem to remember them!):

25. Crab Steam Releaser & Spoon Rest
And last but not least is {this crab steam releaser & spoon rest}) that’s more of a fun-to-have than a must-have, but I wanted to include it because it’s perfect for a gift basket or stocking stuffer. You can rest the lid of your pan on the back of this cute little crab as a steam release so your pot doesn’t boil over. And our crab friend does double duty as a spoon rest too:

That wraps up my 15 favorite Amazon kitchen gadgets! If you missed it, be sure to check out my other post on Amazon gadgets for gadgets that I use outside of the kitchen. And don’t miss my 20 favorite Amazon home decor finds too.
Do you have a favorite kitchen gadget or tool that wasn’t on my list? Please share in the comments!
