Love the look of copper in the kitchen? There are so many gorgeous copper kitchen accents to choose from! I’m sharing my favorites!
When you’re remodeling or updating your kitchen, one thing you need to decide on is what metal finishes you’re using. Most people use nickel, chrome, or brass, but have you given any thought to copper? Whether you use copper accents in larger doses like a copper range or kitchen pendants or you bring in smaller copper kitchen decor accents, the warmth of copper can’t be matched!
Today I’m sharing some ideas and inspiration for how to incorporate copper accents into your kitchen and I’ve gathered together some favorite copper kitchen decor pieces too. (post includes affiliate links – see my full disclosure statement {here}).
Copper Kitchen Lighting
You can bring copper into your kitchen with new pendant lighting like in this gorgeous kitchen with two copper pendants over the island:
I love how the copper mixes so well with the other metal finishes of the faucet and cabinet pulls and knobs.
If you don’t have pendants in your kitchen, another option is to add copper flush mount lighting over the sink (this is a laundry room but you could do the same thing in a kitchen!):
While they used a different finish for the faucet, they tied in the copper color with the canisters on the countertop which is smart. One of my tips for mixing metals is to have each metal you use in at least two different spots in the room. You can see my other tips for mixing metals in {this post}.
Copper Kitchen Accents
Bringing copper finishes into your kitchen can also be as simple as adding a grouping of copper pots, whether they’re hanging from a pot rack over your kitchen island or from a wall mounted rack over the range like in this beautifully designed kitchen:

Or if you want to go all out, you could add a copper range hood or range like this beauty:

or you could stick with the range you have and simply display some pretty copper pots and other bakeware on open shelving. The stunning kitchen is a great example of both!
Another option I absolutely love the look of is a copper sink, especially this combination with white cabinets and dark countertops:
While an option for bringing a smaller dose of copper into your kitchen is to use copper knobs and pulls like {these}:
What do you guys think – do you love the look of copper too or are you more into other types of metals (brass? venetian bronze? silver?)? Luckily it’s easy to baby step your way into using copper in the kitchen by choosing smaller copper kitchen decor accents. These are my favorites:
