Decorative Letters: Fave Sources & Ideas for Using Them in Your Home!

Looking for decorative letters? I’m sharing my favorite sources for decorative letters and ideas of how to use them in your home!

If you want to add some personalization to your home, decorative letters can be a fun way to do it! Kids’ rooms might be the first use that comes to your mind but there are so many other options too! Today I’m sharing my favorite sources for decorative letters and inspiring ways to use them in your home. Let’s get to it… (post includes commissionable links; for more information, see my disclosure statement {here})

Hang Large Decorative Letters on the Wall

One of the simplest ideas for using decorative letters is also one of my favorites! Simply use a statement-making letter alone on a wall such as this large galvanized letter “W”:

Love the look of a single oversized decorative letter as wall art!

For a baby’s room, I absolutely LOVE {these large wooden letters} that you can have personalized with your child’s name and date of birth:

And you don’t need to limit yourself to using a single letter. Putting several letters together to spell a simple word like “EAT” is such a fun addition to this kitchen: are fun to use in the kitchen:

In a nursery or kid’s room they look darling spelling out a name on the wall over a crib or dresser:

While most decorative letters are wood or zinc, there are some beautifully unique options out there too! I love Pottery Barn’s Fresh Moss Letters found {here} – they are made with real moss wrapped around a wood laminate base and come with an ivory ribbon for hanging. They are big guys at 18″-20″ tall:

    Place Decorative Letters on Shelving

I also love the use of one of these same statement-making galvanized letters as decor on a shelf:

In a baby’s room, {these neutral fabric letters} are perfect for shelving because not only are they adorable, but you don’t have any worries about injuries from decor falling off of shelving:

Hang a Large Letter on Your Front Door

Another fun idea is to use a single large letter as front door decor such as this beautiful whitewashed wood letter found {here}:

I’ve also seen some beautiful wreaths that incorporative a decorative letter such as {this gorgeous wreath} with faux hydrangeas and ferns:

Let Your Decorative Letters Be Freestanding

My favorite decorative letters found in my search are {these wine cork letters} from Desert Coastal Studios. Each letter is created with wine and champagne corks to create a freestanding work of art:

Etsy is my favorite source for decorative letters because there are so many creative options{here}! Other than the ones I’ve already shared, some stand-outs include {these rattan letters},
