Looking for Christmas wish list ideas? My family has gathered together all of our favorite things to share tons of great gift ideas with you!
I’m excited to be sharing my 7th annual Favorite Things Christmas Gift Guide which I put together every holiday season. As always, I’ve compiled all of my family’s favorite things to give you some great ideas for gifts to buy for family & friends or to add to your own Christmas wish list. If you’re looking for the perfect gift ideas for her, him, teen/college aged young women, or even your dog, you’ve come to the right place 😊 Ready to get going and check out our favorites? (post includes affiliate links – full disclosure statement available {here})
Let’s start with my own personal favorites of 2022 – I’ve got lots of great ideas to add to a Christmas wish list for her:
Christmas Wish List Ideas: Gifts for Her
Sources: 1. Ribbon straw beach tote | 2. Cane wrapped vase | 3. Roll-up drying rack/trivet | 4. Laneige lip sleeping mask | 5. Laneige lip glowy balm | 6. Pura diffuser gift bundles | 7. Always pan | 8. Volo hair towel | 9. Wicker scalloped frame set | 10. Electronic bike | 11. Desktop mini vacuum cleaner | 12. Ribbon wrapped hoop earrings | 13. Plaid bow scrunchie
1. {This ribbon straw beach tote} is darling and can be used for a quick trip to the beach, pool, gym, or even as a handbag. And I love that you can have it monogrammed – I gave one to my sister as a gift and it turned out so cute:
It’s just big enough for a towel and a few other small items so if you’re gifting to someone who’s a mom and has lots of stuff to haul, you might want to size up to {this larger straw tote}.
2. You can never go wrong with gifting a beautiful vase! My current favorite is {this cane wrapped vase} which is gorgeous in its simplicity and neutral enough to use in any room:
3. One of my most-loved kitchen accessories is {this roll-up drying rack/trivet}. Not only does it work great for drying dishes,
but it also does double duty as a trivet for large hot cookware like cookie sheets and casserole dishes. I also use mine for rinsing fruits & veggies:
I’ve been super happy with mine, but if you prefer to shop Amazon, my mom has a very similar one from Amazon that you can shop {here}.
4 & 5. I swear by {this Laneige lip mask} that I use every night before I go to bed and have kissed chapped lips goodbye! Don’t let the term “mask” turn you off – it’s not a peel-off mask like you’d use on your face, it’s just an intensely moisturizing lip balm. It’s pricey but that one little container seems never-ending – it lasts me a solid year with nightly use. I also have and love {this lip balm} that I keep in my purse.
6. I’ve tried various candles & diffusers and they all have their pros and cons but the Pura diffuser that I got earlier this year tops them all! It’s a plug-in diffuser that holds two fragrances inside (this is a view with the front cover off):
and is entirely customizable via the app that controls it. You can set which of the two fragrances you want diffused, on/off times, and the strength of the fragrance (one of my favorite features because I don’t like overly strong fragrances) all from the app. And unlike many candles and other diffusers they’re made with only clean, pet friendly ingredients.
They have several super cute bundles of the Pura device plus two fragrances {here} including {this winter bestsellers bundle} with the Frasier Fir (my favorite!!) and Holiday by NEST New York fragrances – it would make the perfect gift:
7. I bought {this Always pan} at the end of last year and love it! I wasn’t sure what to expect because most people love it but some complained about the nonstick surface not holding up. My personal experience is that I’ve used it about twice a week for the past year and so far my nonstick surface still looks like new. I love that it’s made with none of the toxic ingredients in many other nonstick coatings, that it has a pour spout & comes with a steamer basket, and that it’s so pretty (there are some gorgeous color options!) that I can leave it out on my cooktop:
The only negative I’ve found is that it seems to take a bit longer to heat up than my other pans so I make sure to put it on the stove to heat up a little sooner than I’m used to. Our Place has occasional sales on the Always Pan so don’t buy it at full price! I recently got an email code of H4RRX9K2 for $30 off that you can try. I’ll keep my eye open for other sales let you know when I see one (be sure to sign up for my emails {here} so you’re always in the know)
8. {This Volo hair towel} is one of my favorite discoveries of 2022 and would make a great gift! It’s a super soft, absorbent towel I wrap around my head after showering that decreases dry time by A LOT! It won Allure’s Best of Beauty Award the past two years, is larger than many other similar towels, and has a strap that keeps the towel neatly tucked into place:
It’s cutely packaged in a cylindrical container too that’s ready to wrap without need for a box.
9. I’ve loved {these scalloped wicker frames} for a while now but the price on them is $$$! I recently found {this gorgeous set of wicker scalloped frames} that are super close look-alikes and while they’re not exactly inexpensive, they’re about half the price of the original version:
If you’re planning to gift any photos for the holidays, these gorgeous frames would make your gift all that much more special!
10. Jeff has been an avid cyclist for years and now that we live close to the beach, he bikes there most mornings. While the 9 mile round trip is nothing for him, it’s definitely farther than I’m willing to commit to :). So.. he came up with the idea of getting me a pedal assist electric bike which is the type of eBike that you have to pedal but you can put it on different levels of assist so that pedaling becomes effortless, even on hills. I told him I’m game as long as he picks a bike that’s cute (ha!). He ordered {this highly rated Heybike} and it’s been such a great purchase!
I love that I can get the exercise of using it like a normal bike but can also put it in pedal assist mode when I’m ready to take a break. I also ordered {this cup & phone holder} that clamps onto my bike’s handlebar and fits my phone and a drink:
Biking is suddenly a LOT more fun 🙂 Jeff did a lot of research before buying an eBike and said to share that {this bike} (I love the blue/green color!) is the best of the best if you want the top of the line in eBikes.
11. I’m 100% obsessed with {this rechargeable mini desktop vacuum} that I originally bought for my desk but found is AMAZING for easily cleaning crumbs off of my countertops and our dining table. It’s one of those little gadgets that’s actually fun to use, it works surprisingly well, and it has soft bristles on the bottom so it won’t scratch your surfaces:
It would make a super cute stocking stuffer but also snag one for yourself too – I guarantee you’ll be as obsessed with it as I am 🙂 I linked it in white but you can also get it in pink {here}.
12 & 13. {These ribbon wrapped hoop earrings} and {this plaid bow scrunchie} are the cutest! I just bought them a few weeks ago and have already worn both of them a ton.
They would make great holiday gifts! A few other gift ideas that I have and love are:
{This hair shampoo brush} – it works the shampoo down to the roots & gives you a nice massage too (several of the reviewers also note that it’s great for kids!)
{This Ninja Foodi 5 in 1} – I especially love the air fry feature!
A few new kitchen gadgets including {these cord organizers}, {this salad spinner}, and {this 4-blade chopper}. You can find other fun favorite kitchen gadgets that would make great stocking stuffers by checking out my post on my favorite Amazon kitchen gadgets.
Looking to gift a set of cozy pajamas? I asked for reader favorites on Instagram Stories and these are the top five PJs that readers raved about: Some Cool Nights PJs, Lake Pajamas, Target Stars Above PJs, Eberjay PJs, and Tommy John PJs.
And if you missed my gift ideas for her from 2021, I’m re-sharing them below:
1. Turtle planter | 2. Wireless charger | 3. Barefoot Dreams cardigan | 4. Dyson Omni-Glide | 5. SUGAR lip set | 6. Moonlight Pajamas | 7. Gold cuff bracelet | 8. T3 Folding Hair Dryer | 9. Flameless electronic candle lighter | 10. Essie Nail Polishes – Angora Cardi, Ballet Slippers, & Chinchilly | 11. USB charging cable
And now moving on to my husband Jeff’s favorites with lots of great ideas to add to your Christmas wish list for him…
Christmas Wish List Ideas: Gifts for Him
Sources: 1. Grill light | 2. Apple watch | 3. AirPods Pro | 4. ON Men’s cloud sneakers | 5. Meater + remote thermometer | 6. Rolling carry-on | 7. Yeti Rambler lowball tumbler | 8. Men’s ratchet belt | 9. Caséta smart lighting starter kit | 10. Cliq portable chair | 11. Laser measuring device | 12. Grilling gloves
1. Jeff loves {this uber bright grill light} that clamps onto the handle of the grill, rotates in any direction, and illuminates the entire surface:
It’s a hardy sucker too! Jeff has left the grill uncovered several times and our grill light got soaked with rain but it still works perfectly!
2 & 3. Jeff got an Apple Watch & AirPods years ago when they first came out and he’s recently upgraded to {this Apple watch} that’s the most recent version (for guys, he recommends the larger 45mm face) and {these new AirPods Pro} that he uses daily.
4. Jeff bought {these cloud sneakers} earlier this year and says that not only are they comfortable & lightweight, but he gets asked about them almost daily because everyone likes the look of them. They are popular overseas and are just starting to become popular here. Jeff currently has the black & white pair and has a few of the colorful options on his Christmas wish list including this Storm/Tide color:
5. This is a great gift for the griller in your house! {This Meater + smart meat thermometer} is so much smarter than your standard thermometer:
It works with an app on your phone where you input what you’re grilling and the level of doneness that you prefer, you stick the thermometer into your meat, and then it monitors the temperature as it cooks, giving you an estimate of when it will be ready and providing an alert at 5 minutes out and then right before it’s done. You can use it in the oven too (perfect for your Thanksgiving turkey!).
6. Jeff travels every week for work so he’s tried a lot of different luggage pieces before landing on his favorite which is {this 20″ rolling carry-on}.
He’s never been a fan of the clamshell split suitcases that open in the middle so he likes that this one is front opening, and has a TSA friendly lock, a durable hard shell, and smooth rolling spinner wheels. Jeff has the black but it also comes in a pretty green, gray, and ivory.
7. After trying several traditionally sized thermal mugs, Jeff found that he likes {this lowball size Yeti Rambler} the most. He uses it in the morning for coffee and sometimes in the evening for a mixed drink. He says it’s amazing at keeping hot things hot and cold things cold. And we both hate hand washing dishes so it’s a plus that it’s dishwasher safe.
8. {This ratchet belt} differs from a traditional men’s belt because instead of having belt holes with a certain spacing, it’s micro-adjustable for an exact fit. There are over 30 belt/buckle combinations to choose from, ranging from those that are more casual to more dressy (Jeff has the Imperial Charcoal).
9. The Caséta by Lutron smart home lighting system has been a favorite of both of ours for years. We had a complete system set up in our previous home and are on our way in our new home too. Some of the many features we love about it are that we can control multiple lights in our house with our voice, a remote, or our phones (awesome for when you’re away), we can easily add additional wall-mounted light switches without needing an electrician,
and we can program lights to go on and off at set times. One of {these starter kits} would make a great gift!
10. Since Jeff & I started biking to the beach, he’s become the master of packing everything we need for a great beach set-up in his backpack. That includes a pair of {these Cliq portable chairs} that are lightweight and fold down to a super compact size. They would also be great for watching kids sports or to leave in your car as an extra chair in case you ever need one. He also packs {this pop-up beach tent} and {this sandproof beach blanket} (and then we stop at Tower 7 for chips & guacamole on the way 😊). I’ll get a better photo at some point but here’s a quick pic of the setup that Jeff took when he and our oldest daughter went one day:
11. Want a great stocking stuffer? {This laser measuring device} gets a lot of use around our house:
It’s super accurate, easy to use, and honestly kind of fun too!
12. Another gift for the griller that Jeff has and loves is {this pair of grilling gloves}. He says these are a lot more flexible than other grill gloves and he likes the non-slip grip on them and that they’re machine washable.
Want more gift ideas for him, I’m resharing my 2021 Christmas wish list ideas below:
1. Magic wallet | 2. Black Thermoball eco jacket | 3. Ember smart mug | 4. Grill basket | 5. Smokeless firepit | 6. Portable jump starter | 7. Sanuk shoes | 8. Car vacuum cleaner | 9. Tech short sleeve shirt | 10. Tech button down shirt
Some other gift ideas for the guys in your life include:
{This Opal icemaker} that makes the best Sonic-like nugget ice – the whole family loves it!
{This portable wheeled Yeti cooler} that lives up to the hype for keeping things cool all day long and being virtually indestructible.
{These large sphere & square ice cube molds} that cool your cocktail but melt less quickly than typical ice cubes so your alcohol doesn’t get watered down.

Moving on with some gift suggestions for teen and college-aged young women based on my daughters’ favorite things:
Christmas Wish List Ideas: Gifts for Teen & College-Aged Young Women
Sources: 1. Squishmallows | 2. Ruched hobo handbag | 3. Silk pillowcase | 4. Weighted blanket | 5. Converse Chuck Taylor High-Tops | 6. LEGO succulents | 7. Dash egg cooker | 8. Expressie nail polish (colors are Slate Blue & Now or Never) | 9. BAGGU crescent bag | 10. Fenty Beauty Lipstick | 11. Revlon Volumizer Plus | 12. Sephora Must Haves Set | 13. Cloud slippers
1. I had Squishmallows on their list from last year but they’re still just as crazy about these super soft & adorable plushies this year! My youngest daughter has quite the collection:
Some of the most popular sites to find Squishmallows are {here}, {here}, and {here}. A lot of knock-offs have come out with Squishmallows becoming so popular, so be aware to look for the Squishmallow brand when you’re searching. Another idea for the true Squishmallow lover is Squishmallow slippers!
2. My oldest daughter loves {this ruched hobo bag} which is vegan leather and comes in 15 color options. It’s a purse that’s easy to carry by hand but can also be placed on your shoulder.
3. A silk pillowcase like {this one} that’s pure silk is a great gift – both of my girls use them! They come in tons of colors and standard, queen, and king sizes.
4. My youngest daughter has used a weighted blanket for years and says she sleeps so much better with it. The rule of thumb is to buy a blanket that’s about 1/10th your body weight (ex. a 12 lb blanket if you weigh 120 pounds). {This weighted blanket} is a popular option that comes in several size and weight options.
5. My daughter wears {these classic high-top sneakers} almost daily – they’re not cheap but they’ve been worth it given how often she wears them. If you want a more budget-friendly high-top option, she also has {these white high-tops} and likes them.
6. Looking for a gift for someone who’s crafty and creative? My youngest loves {these LEGO Icon sets for adults}! Favorites include {these succulents}, {this bonsai tree}, and {this orchid}:
7. My oldest daughter does NOT like to cook, so she eats at the campus eateries a lot but likes having a few simple things she can make at her apartment too. She uses {this Dash egg cooker} as a simple, fast way to make hard boiled eggs that are basically impossible to mess up. Another popular mini appliance for college kids is {this Dash mini maker} for making waffles. They both come in lots of fun color options.
8. One or two of {these Essie Expressie nail polishes} would be a great stocking stuffer for any age! They dry super fast and are an Allure Reader’s Choice Award Winner. Two of the most popular colors for those in their teens to twenties are Slate Blue and Now or Never.
9. BAGGU is a popular brand with this age group – they make durable bags using recycled materials with an emphasis on sustainability. My oldest daughter loves {this BAGGU crescent bag}:
Also check out {these cute puffy laptop sleeves}.
10. Both of my girls rave about {this Fenty Beauty lipstick} that’s soft and hydrating and comes in great colors.
11. I’ve had the Revlon Blowout Brush for years, and it works really well to both dry your hair and add volume at the same time. My girls were stealing mine so often that we ended up buying a second one. They just came out with {this Revlon Volumizer Brush} which is a new version with a smaller brush head and slimmer handle that’s getting rave reviews. It won one of Allure’s Best of Beauty awards for 2022.
12. My girls love trying new beauty products so I know that {this must haves gift set} would be a big hit! It contains a few products I know they already have and love (so they’d be great to have in travel size for trips) and others that they’d enjoy trying. Check out other beauty gift sets {here}.
13. Cloud slippers are popular for all ages right now – they have a thick cushioned sole so are super comfy! {These cloud slippers} are a great option that come in a ton of pretty colors.
Want more gift ideas for young women in their teens to 20s? These are the ideas I shared last year:
