New bathroom cabinet knobs can totally transform the look of your piece! I’m sharing my favorite stylish knob options in today’s post!
I’m a 100% bonafide decorative hardware junkie. I could dig around those spinning bins full of knobs and pulls at Anthropologie for hours! And a lot of you must have the same illness because the post I did on my favorite knobs and pulls years ago has always been a favorite. I realized earlier this week that most of the knobs and pulls I talked about in that post were no longer available so I decided to share a new one with my current decorative hardware crushes!
Even though the costs of changing out knobs or pulls can add up when you’re talking about a large chest of drawers or a kitchen, the transformation they can make is pretty huge and usually totally worth the price you pay. Today I’m sharing thirteen of my faves (not sure how I ended up at that unlucky number…) along with some pics of several of them in my home. Ready? (post includes affiliate links)
Knob Sources: 1. Mother of pearl knob (white) | 2. Frosted acrylic/champagne gold knob | 3. Ring pull | 4. Swirled agate knob | 4. Frosted acrylic/champagne gold knob | 5. Beaded knob | 6. Marble knob | 7. Modern mushroom knob | 8. Ball knob | 9. Octagon glass knob | 10. Clover shaped knob
Knob #1 (available {here}) is a brass & mother of pearl beauty that I’ve used time and time again for years. It’s not only a gorgeous bathroom cabinet knob, but a gorgeous ANYWHERE knob. I’ve also used it on a dresser as well as built-in cabinet doors and it always makes whatever piece I use it on look like a million bucks! In our current house, I have these knobs on the cabinet doors of our home office built-ins and also on our master bedroom dresser that I recently transformed with paint and new hardware (you can see the “before” pics of this chest {here}).
Guest Bathroom Sources: Vanity faucet | Faucet handles | Chrome towel ring | White towels under vanity | Chrome towel bar | Chrome toilet paper holder | Gray vanity (similar) | Brass and pearl vanity knobs | Wallpaper – no longer available | Brass flush mount light | Black marble toilet tray (similar) | Toilet seat with night light
Knob #2 (found {HERE}) is the acrylic and champagne gold knob option that I chose for the bathroom cabinets in our master bathroom:
Vanity Area Sources: Wood & rattan double vanity | Vanity knobs | Bathroom faucets – brushed nickel | Vanity lights | Vanity mirrors – gold | Woven seagrass tray on vanity | Cross base planter | Marble stacking dishes | Soap & lotion sink set with tray | Toothbrush holder | Bamboo toothbrushes
It comes in two size options – I used both of them (the larger size on the top faux drawer and smaller size on the cabinet doors). It also comes in eight finishes so there’s a knob to fit pretty much every bathroom cabinet style & color.
I’m kinda cheating with Knob #3 (found {HERE}) because it’s actually more of a pull but I love the simple, clean-lined look of it and the price is great! It comes in satin nickel, dark antique copper, and windover antique which is the finish I chose when I used it on our guest room dresser:
Other Sources: Upholstered Wingback Bed (fabric is Zuma White) | White Bedside Lamp | Round Wood Beaded Tray | Clock
It would look gorgeous on a bathroom cabinet too!
Knob #7 (available {HERE}) is another one of the bathroom cabinet knobs on my list that I’ve used in my own home. I actually used them to replace the dated cabinet & drawer knobs as part of a budget friendly mini makeover of our kitchen. They are gorgeous and made such a difference:
They comes in several other finish options too!
So what do you guys think? Do you have a favorite?

Kris,
I love several of these knob designs. I’ve saved #4 for a future house. (we’re in the process of selling our house of 35 years). 🙂
xo,
Karen

Oh my gosh Karen, that must be a HUGE chore after living somewhere so long! Good luck with it. And how exciting that you’ll have a whole new home to work on!!

Really nice. Do you have any suggestions for altering the bolt part when it is too long?
I bought some similar to #2, but the existing knobs are more like #6 with a short screw that goes into a tube.
Thanks

Actually Bea I have the best little tool that cuts off the ends of bolts and makes it so easy! It would actually be smart to add that info to the post. Let me figure out what it’s called or at least add a picture of it – I’ll do that early next week and let you know when I do!

I purchased knob # 1 when you did a post a while back. I love the brass and mother of pearl look.

Isn’t it great one! I will be sad when the day comes that Anthropologie stops carrying them!
Kris Jarrett says
That’s a tough call – at least for me I think it would depend on how much variation is in your grasscloth. For the grasscloth I used on my bookcases, there isn’t much variation in color at all so I don’t think a seam would be super obvious but for the grasscloth in my daughter’s room there was quite a bit of variation in color even within the roll and I don’t know that it would look very good if seamed at the back of a bookcase. Hope that helps a little 🙂

I hadn’t seen those – they’re beautiful!!!
