I love finding ways to incorporate textures into my home – jute rugs, seagrass baskets, grasscloth wallpaper, – love ’em all! There’s even options for bringing texture in with lighting and nautical rope lighting fixtures (lamps, pendants, and chandelier) are one of my favorite ways to do that. And while these accessories seem right at home in a house on the shore, they can be used in almost any home to bring in that texture that helps make a home interesting and warm and welcoming. Like this stunning living room space – it would have so much more of a formal feel without that gorgeous rope pendant, right?!

I’ve come across a lot of gorgeous fixtures designed with nautical rope, but the one that I’ve totally fallen for is {this rope floor lamp}. I love its curvy lines and chunky texture and think it would be perfect for the corner of my living room!
Its kissing cousin in the tabletop version is {this curvy rope lamp} which would be perfect as a nightstand lamp!
