Serena & Lily Look for Less: 20 Designer-Inspired Finds

If you love Serena & Lily’s relaxed, coastal style as much as I do, you know how easy it is to fall in love with their furniture and decor. And also… how quickly those price tags add up! While there are some Serena & Lily pieces I think are absolutely worth the splurge, I’m always excited when I find a similar look for less.

Today I’m sharing all of my favorite Serena & Lily look for less finds, including furniture, lighting, rugs, and more! (post includes commissionable links; for more information, see my full disclosure statement {here})

Look for Less Serena & Lily Furniture

Driftway Dresser

{This Driftway dresser} from Serena & Lily is one of their classic coastal pieces, with a beautiful linen-wrapped finish and brass ring pulls. It works just as beautifully as an entryway chest as it does a bedroom dresser:

For less than half the price, {this raffia-wrapped 6-drawer dresser} gives you the same natural, textured look, with the prettiest brass feet:

It’s part of Pottery Barn Teen’s AERIN collection, which includes several other elevated furniture pieces and accessories, including {this raffia writing desk} and {this white bamboo mirror}.

Driftway Console Table

I’ve had {this console table} for years, using it in the entryway of both our previous and current homes. It’s wrapped in raffia, giving it texture that adds a high-end look:

I found a pretty amazing look-for-less version of my console {here}. The dimensions are fairly similar too, with the original version being just 5″ wider, 1″ deeper, and 3″ taller than the look-for-less option.

Note: When I got my “splurge” console, it was wrapped in raffia just like the “save” console is, but Serena & Lily recently changed the design of their console to be linen wrapped.

Scallop Rattan Side Table

{This Serena & Lily scalloped rattan table} is a versatile piece that could be used as a side table, small bar cart, or nightstand:

Anguilla Coffee Table

A round coffee table that I’ve always loved is this 44″ Anguilla rattan coffee table from Serena & Lily. It has great texture and an open, airy feel:

While Serena & Lily discontinued it, I still wanted to share the look for less version because it’s such a similar design at about half the price of the splurge version:

Look for Less Serena & Lily Accessories

Tilden Bowl

At 7″, {Serena & Lily’s smallest Tilden Bowl} is the perfect little catchall for jewelry on a nightstand, small essentials in a bathroom, or simply as a decorative accent on a coffee table or bookshelf:

{This fluted marble bowl from Quince} is the same size with a very similar sculptural, fluted look for a fraction of the price. Both are made of beautiful white marble, making the Quince version a great way to get the look for less!

Beaufort Tray

If you’re looking for a large woven tray, {Serena & Lily’s 34″ Beaufort Tray} is a beauty:

It’s a great size for anchoring a large coffee table or ottoman, where you can fill it with stacks of books, a vase, candles, and other decorative accents. {This handwoven tray from Quince} has a very similar look and is almost exactly the same size at 33.5″ long.

I love the natural texture both add to a room, but the Quince version gives you the look for a whole lot less with 5-star reviews. It sells out frequently so it’s one to grab when you see it in stock!

Look for Less Serena & Lily Mirrors

Fleur Mirror

I’ve always loved the playful scalloped shape of {Serena & Lily’s Fleur Mirror} and the natural texture it adds to a space. {This cane framed mirror} gives you such a similar look for less! It has the same fun floral shape and breezy, coastal feel, making it a great choice for everything from a bedroom or bathroom to an entryway.

Wave Round Mirror

I love the playful curves of {this Serena & Lily Wave Mirror} that make it such a fun statement piece. {This scalloped wood mirror} gives you a very similar wavy silhouette for a fraction of the price!

I’m actually planning to use it with {these sconces} in my youngest daughter’s bathroom in our new home:

Montara Rattan Mirror

When we remodeled our powder room, I had my eye on {this 28.5″ Serena & Lily round white rattan mirror} but didn’t want to spend that much on it. I ended up finding {this similar 30″ version} for much less, and it worked beautifully, tying in the white of the bathroom shiplap:

Look for Less Serena & Lily Floor & Table Lamps

Larkspur Floor Lamp

{Serena & Lily’s Larkspur floor lamp} is such a pretty mix of polished brass and natural woven texture, topped with a scalloped shade that gives it that signature Serena & Lily coastal look. {This Birch Lane floor lamp} has such a similar feel with its slender brass frame, woven detailing, and scalloped shade, but at a much lower price point:

Georgia Table Lamp

I’ve always thought that {this glass globe table lamp} from Serena & Lily is a stunner! I love that it would work with almost any style and colors that you have in your space:

A fabulous “save” version is {this glass globe table lamp} that’s about ⅓ the price and has a VERY similar look:

Look for Less Serena & Lily Pendants

Capiz Honeycomb Pendant

I bought {this capiz honeycomb pendant} several years ago for above the kitchen table of our previous home:

And I loved it so much that I brought it with us when we moved and now have it in the entryway of our current home. You can find a “save” version with the same look for a fraction of the price in multiple size options {here}.

Kentfield Lantern Pendant

I chose {these lantern pendants} for over the kitchen island in our previous home and love how the open pendants kept this space feeling light and airy (especially since our kitchen ceilings were under 8′):

The only negative? They weren’t cheap! At the time that we remodeled our kitchen, I couldn’t find any similar pendants at a lower price, but now there are several great looks for less. One of the best is {this lantern pendant} that has a very similar design and the exact same dimensions as the Serena & Lily pendant but is less than half the price:

In addition to the satin brass finish option that’s the closest match to my Darlana pendants, this look for less version is also available in brushed nickel and matte black.

Kentfield Linear Pendant

I also found a great designer look for less version of {this Kentfield linear pendant} that’s a great light fixture for over a dining table:

The Kentfield chandelier measures 54″ x 17″, while the look for less version is a little smaller with a measurement of 49″ x 15″:

It’s available in several finish options, including antique gold, chrome, gray, oil rubbed bronze, and {this white/brass combination} that my sister has over her dining room table!

Look for Less Serena & Lily Area Rugs

Alamere Rug

{Serena & Lily’s Alamere Rug} is one I know and LOVE (it’s my favorite rug in our house)! I have it in our dining room, and the flatweave is perfect for allowing our caster dining chairs to roll easily back and forth:

I also love the beautiful pattern and woven texture that add interest without making the space feel busy. {This hand-woven rug} has a very similar pattern and textured look for a whole lot less, making it a great way to get the same casual, high-end feel on a smaller budget:

Scallop Jute Rug

I love the texture of jute rugs as well as scalloped designs, so {this Serena & Lily scallop jute rug} hits all the marks for me! Well… all the marks except price. Luckily, I found {this scalloped jute rug} that has an incredibly similar look but is less than half the price 🙌🏻

Mirabelle Rug

This find is such a good one! If you’re familiar with Serena & Lily’s Mirabelle rug (it’s now discontinued but they carried it for years), you know that it’s a gorgeous patterned rug with neutral colors that work well in almost any room:

The 8′ x 10′ size of the Mirabelle rug sold for over $2000, so it’s definitely a splurge piece. A spot-on look for less (MUCH less!) is {this Birdwood area rug}:

It’s available in several size options too. Is the quality of the two rugs the same? No, at such a significant price difference, it’s no surprise that the Serena & Lily rug is a higher-quality double-tufted wool rug, while the look for less version is polyester.

So if you want to invest in a quality rug that you’ll have for 10+ years, I’d go for the splurge. But if you have a busy house with kids and dogs and know that whatever rug you get will need to be replaced in a few years, the look for less version is definitely the way to go.

Look for Less Serena & Lily Chairs

Riviera Rattan Dining Chairs

When you need between 4-10 chairs for around a dining table, the cost of new chairs adds up quickly! I have {these Riviera chairs} in the fog color around our kitchen table and absolutely love the style of them. They’ve held up really well too:

Want a similar look for less? When you buy {this set of 4 French bistro chairs}, the price per chair is about half the price of Serena & Lily’s chairs.

The biggest difference between the splurge and save versions is what the frames are made of. The Serena & Lily chairs have a rattan frame, while the look for less version has an aluminum frame. I personally like the look of the rattan frame better, BUT the aluminum frame has the advantage of being usable both indoors and out.

Balboa Rattan Dining Chairs

I found another Serena & Lily dining chair look for less too! If you love the look of their Balboa dining chairs, you’ll really love these similar chairs that are about ⅓ of the price of the splurge version:

Salt Creek Outdoor Lounge Chairs

For outdoor lounge chairs, I own a look for less version that I’ve been really happy with! I’ve always loved the look of Serena & Lily’s Salt Creek chairs but just couldn’t pull the trigger on outdoor furniture with that high of a price tag. About 2 years ago, I stumbled on {these outdoor lounge chairs} (set of 2) from Walmart that have a super similar look:

The difference in price is insane!
