With the end of the school year, summer vacations, and wanting to spend your free time outside rather than doing indoor projects, June tends to be a crazy busy month. So I wasn’t expecting that there would be a whole lot of projects linked up to this month’s Best of the Nest. How wrong I was – you guys brought it! It was even harder than usual to pick just a few links to feature with so many that I loved but I do have some great ones to share!
The Colored Door: Summer Drink Station
Whether you’re doing some last minute scrambling to make your patio festive for the 4th or you’re hosting other summer barbecues in the months to come, check out Tammy’s ideas for putting together a fun, festive drink station!
Primitive & Proper: DIY Gilded Edge Midcentury Cabinets
Cassie’s a paint whisperer and is always wowing us with her latest refinished pieces. I love her newly transformed gold leaf edged nightstands – be sure to check out the “before” – you’d never guess that they had such humble beginnings!
Chateau Chic: Vintage Screen Porch Finds
Mary Alice has filled her beautiful porch with unique vintage finds, creating the most charming spot to enjoy a sunny summer day. French egg baskets and a vintage ladder, wheelbarrow, and scale are just a few of the beautiful pieces you’ll find!
Southern State of Mind: 4th of July Decor
Heather did a beautiful job decking her house out for the 4th – from the flags on her front porch to this gorgeous spread of flowers and fruit on a vintage scarf table runner she DIYed, this is one summer house tour you won’t want to miss.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to visit the other party hostesses too – they’ve got some great links to share:
