In 2013 our family moved from Cincinnati to Connecticut where we bought our third home. We moved due to a job transfer for Jeff and only had a single weekend to visit Connecticut and hunt for a new home. After a full day of seeing a ton of homes that we couldn’t get excited about, the first home we saw on day two of our house hunt was love at first sight and we put in an offer that same day:
While there’s nothing I’d change about the outside, the inside was a different story. It was full of floral wallpaper, dated light fixtures, and a seriously run-down kitchen but we loved the layout and knew it had a lot of promise! In the eight years that we lived there, we renovated our home room by room and shared the progress, ideas, and inspiration for each space along the way.
